Hosted batch processing

It is no longer necessary for EFT payment applications to reside on your systems or in your work place and in recognition of this trend Servebase has developed the Nucleus batch solution.

Originating a solution for the cruise line industry, whereby, as an overnight batch process, on-board purchases are authorised and settled using satellite connection to our Data Centre.

The solution is not limited to cruise line business nor to batch processing, real-time online authorisation is also supported.

Our hosted Nucleus product is a batch processing operation which can be accessed via SFTP for secure processing. This system boasts an X.25 line from our data centre to your chosen acquirer to ensure rapid response times.

Typically, with a batch, each transaction is cleared in under 3 seconds.

Management information is provided through our Flex service, an Internet accessed hosted MI solution.

Internet card processing for recurring billing

The Dynamic Recurring Billing Bureau is a single interface for payment card processing which is accessible via the Internet. It accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB, Delta, Switch and Solo; providing a superior Recurring Billing processing platform with connections to American Express and all UK acquirers and many acquirers across Europe.

Recurring Billing is the means by which a card holder gives authority to bill his / her card on a continuing basis for goods / services provided over a period of time until requested to stop by the card holder. Currently only American Express cards benefit from the automated updates; all other cards are processed in the normal way.

In summary, the DRBB Hosting Database captures, validates, stores and maintains the card data. You send a billing file including customer reference numbers but without card data to the DRBB for processing where the DRBB adds the card data to the billing record to create a normal ROC (Record of Charge).
