The Servebase Alpha solution is designed for the smaller business, usually only dealing with a relatively low number of card payments. It is single user, single currency based system and supplied on a CD for easy self installation and supported by the Servebase help desk during normal business hours. All major card schemes are included and the application is also widely used by merchants/suppliers who need to accommodate Purchase Card Line Item Detail (LID) data and Visa Global Invoice Specification (VGIS).
Reconciliation data and management information is provided within a simple Supervisor module as with the established Servebase PC-EFT application from which Alpha is derived.
Since Alpha is geared to the lower volume user, designed for smaller businesses dealing with a small number of card payments, it is available on a monthly rental option - making it a viable alternative to bank provided payment terminals over which Alpha offers significantly enhanced functionality at minimal additional cost.
Alpha is an integrated PC solution with a modular format for clients of all types. A feature of Alpha is that you can view all transactions on screen and search by various criteria to retrieve these - a significant benefit to customer service.
